Simon van Zijll

Simon W. van Zijll is active as attorney-at-law since 2007. He previously worked at NautaDutilh and was a partner at Yuen Law Firm. In 2013, he founded Forsyte Attorneys-at-Law. His mission: challenging the status quo, by providing entrepreneurs with complete legal support. Mr. Van Zijll is part of the small group of lawyers specialised in investment arbitration in the Netherlands.

Simon also has extensive expertise in corporate law, commercial litigation and real estate law, among other things.

Faya Amien

Faya Amien graduated in financial law from Leiden University. Additionally, has she also accumulated knowledge of international law at Duke University. After completing her studies, she worked as a contract specialist at a large, international publishing company. Eventually did she make the switch to the legal profession. She now as a lawyer assists the enterprising clients of Forsyte Advocaten with her knowledge and experience.

Faya is fluent in German and Arabic, catering to many of FORSYTE’s international clients.

Lucas Wortelboer

Lucas successfully completed the master's degree in tax law (direct taxation) at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Subsequently, Lucas completed the master's in Commercial Legal Practice (private law) at the University of Amsterdam.

Lucas joined the Forsyte team in February 2024. He deals with corporate and civil law issues. In addition to his work at Foryste, Lucas provides top athletes with commercial and legal advice. His predilection for sports law stems from the fact that Lucas has played hockey at a high level for many years, and currently plays in the first team of Rotterdam club Leonidas.

Nanda Eikelenboom

Nanda completed a bachelor's degree in Notarial Law at Utrecht University, where the focus was on private law. After completing her bachelor's degree, she successfully completed a master's degree in Commercial Legal Practice (private law). With previous experience in judiciary practice and consultancy, she consciously chose a career in law.

Nanda started at Forsyte Advocaten on July 1, 2024. She enthusiastically handles a wide range of corporate legal issues. She has a strong interest in entrepreneurs and the commercial sector and she looks forward to further specializing in areas of law relevant to the business industry.

Salomé Tans

Joey Lievense

In addition to his law studies, Joey has gained experience at another law firm. With this experience, Joey is able to solve complex legal issues and provide clients with appropriate advice.

Working in a team where everyone works hard to achieve the best for the client suits Joey well. At Forsyte Advocaten he is given the space to further develop in law. It is common that as a legal employee you mainly carry out administrative work, but this is not the case at Forsyte.

Joey handles his own files, but also carries out supporting work in the files of his colleagues. There is an informal atmosphere in the workplace, where everyone can ask each other questions and often discuss legal issues.

Mohamed Abed

Mohamed is an Honours student of law at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. With his perseverance and passion for the law, he goes out of his way to help clients with challenging legal issues.

At Forsyte lawyers, Mohamed gets the opportunity to use his legal talent to the benefit his clients. As a paralegal, he performs substantive tasks in addition to administrative duties. When performing these tasks, Mohamed goes to the edge, as his motto is: 'impossible' doesn't exist.
